Our journey began when our founder, Ed, rescued his cherished Lurcher Buddy, only to face the heart-wrenching experience of him slipping his lead in the first few days. As a nervous dog it was hard for anyone to get near the tag to find the details to contact Ed. Thankfully he ran all the way home!

This scenario could have been worse. If discovered, how would they know about Buddy's nervousness or his food preferences? If caught, how could they share their location without simply saying "in a field"? Motivated by a personal mission to prevent such distress for other pet owners, Ed envisioned WagTag—a revolutionary solution that combines durability, privacy, and technology.

Pet tags are a legal requirement in the UK for dogs but they offer little else other than a phone number and address. Our QR code tags provide immediate location scanning to reunite you with your furry companion.
